Local Government Law Northern Ireland
Walker McDonald has built a strong track record of successfully representing local government organisations throughout Northern Ireland.
We are legal advisors to both Craigavon Borough Council and Armagh City and District Council. We advise on various issues and to date the Councils have never been the subject of a successful application for Judicial Review.
Our local government legal advice service is headed by Brian Walker who has solid experience in local government law. He has acted on behalf of local government clients and provided legal advice at discussions with central government, at public inquiries, on planning law issues, equality issues and on environmental law issues. Brian Walker and Joseph McDonald are assisted by Victoria Goward in bringing prosecutions on behalf of local councils on public health and by law matters.
